Called in a bobcat this morn while deer hunting. on the way in, heard a male coyote serenade howl on the ridge above me. I had brought one of my new open reed rolly dog calls that I wanted to play with. Did a short sequence and got ready. saw it coming down the logging road from a different direction. came running into the food plot. Realized it wasn't the yote. Female bobcat, came to 12 yards. as she is leaving, the coyote comes running down from top ridge. Kitty decided to make her exit. sorry for the poor video, shot it with an old worn out 2009 model droid. We never shoot bobcats unless we call them and they are big males. this 15 pound female, got a pass. cant wait till deer season ends so we can start piling up the yotey fur. Really like the tone of these calls. 1 yote, 1 bobcat, 18 does. no bucks of course. good morn
