What is your favorite Butt rub? I don't like heat so lets hear some....

I have use quite a bit of the Webber brand rubs that you can buy at walmart. There are several, but their basic bbq dry rub has a good classic bbq flavor with no heat. Everyone I've cooked for seems to like it.

I went with pit boss pulled pork rub. Got it in the smoker now.

Well I just pulled it and it was amazing!! But I will try a few on here as suggested next time.

Lately I have been using just black pepper, onion and garlic powder, salt, red pepper flakes. We have been using the meat for tacos, burritos etc. It still makes a great samich too.

You get a good bark with that concoction?

Yes pretty good bark (it surprised me), not as heavy because of lack of sugar(s). But still very tastey

Strawberries out of MO

I haven't tried on pork yet but that's the best stuff I have found for chicken hands down

I use it on butts, ribs, pork loin, chickens, etc best rub I have found

Where do u buy it from?

I use one I got from the Weber website. It's simple and excellent. I'll have to try the Alton Brown rub. He's never steered me wrong with a recipe.
