buffalo river fishing??

im goin camping this weekend and early next week to a place that sits on the buffalo river...anyone got tips or suggestions for fishing it around this time....anything biting?? baits to use??

Im going to relax...may get some fishing in but really just gonna chill out

For bass, think S-L-O-W and/or big. The water is still really cold, but I've caught some of my best river smallmouth out of Duck River this time of year. I would use a 6" lizard or a white spinnerbait.
If you can stand the stink, dip baits can be killer on catfish in rivers. If you're fishing from the bank, you might just stick with worms so you don't stink up the campground!

The Buffalo is cold in August !! :)
