I bought these rechargeable hand warmers off Amazon that are incredible. They were relatively cheap, stay warm for a day and now don't ever wear gloves. If my hands get cold I just hold onto one of those and it works great. These are white puck looking ones from Ocoopa I believe

On gloves I have a fingerless set of wool gloves from outdoor research that are pretty good

I use a thin cheap glove like brown jersey and put latex gloves over them in the winter. Keeps fairly dry and warm

never thought of wool but wool is warm even if wet.

will order a set of these or the fish monkey's:

If you want to step up the warmth to a higher level, get the wool ones with the "mitten" that folds back https://www.rei.com/product/305045/...0-HqfoqUPS7tTdmAb_XrN71JybIv7eddBs0mlGcx7gKEo

The two-pack chemical handwarmers from Wallyworld fit well in the mitten part on the back of your hand, and it's like having a little furnace on your hand.
