I done read all that,,and I have shot a 308 a bunch,I have not shot the Creedmore but the ballistics tables dont lie,,the Creedmore flies more like a 190 gr 300 WM load,,
the DPMS does take the regular AR 15 trigger group.
what I like the most about it is the fact it only takes 40 grs H4350 to get 2800 fps from a bullet with a BC of .600
500 pieces of Lapua Brass would last a man,,while I am not positive but I think you could make Creedmore brass from 308 as easy as you could 260..
the guy talkin about shootin 160 gr bullets from an AR in 260 must be nuts,,all the 160 gr 6.5 bullets I have seen are RN and have a BC of about .190 or something.
I think this dude is just some old timer that hates everything new.
