I pulled camera cards this week. To my amazement, several bucks are still carrying antlers in early April. I figured the harsh winter ice storms would have caused physical stress resulting in early antler shedding. I was wrong!

Either way his rack grows this year, that fella is good looking buck. I don't think the new pics are the same deer. Based on the chest sag and belly, there seems to be at least 1 year age difference in the two bucks.

I thought that too but right before he shed his, I saw him. He looked extremely thin, but I did get to confirm he made it through the season. I bet I passed on him last year 10 times. Only time will tell though. I keep the camera rolling 24/7 365 so we shall see! Thank you TNLO!
