I tagged out this morning. It's kind of bitter sweet to be done so early. However, my 8 yr old has a guide for the rest of the year. He nearly got a pass since it was my 2nd tag, but I'm tickled. I'd like to have the first one back, but he was a decent 8 so no complaints. I can fish, squirrel hunt, cut wood, and mainly try my best to put my son on a few. He killed 4 last yr at 7, but we haven't seen a deer from the stand yet this year.

Barnes expander did the trick. He was looking at me. Shot him at the base of the neck and found the bullet lodged against his spine. Perfect mushroom.
