Brunswick stew… recipe?

A small fire department in carrol county Georgia use to spend about 12 hours making a gigantic cast iron pot of Brunswick stew to raise money for equipment for the volunteer stations in the county. Best I ever had and the fossils took the recipe to the grave.
Any of y'all make any?

Our local grocery store Jerry Lee's claims they make homemade Brunswick stew … I haven't tried it because I'm positive they use can stuff in it.

Every Independence Day, my uncle used to make fantastic stew with BBQ pork and chicken. He passed away without ever sharing his recipe. All he would say is slow cooking... ;o)

I make it all the time. Took a coffee box and used the lid to make a six pack box. Fill quart bags, place in the squares. Put box in freezer for day. Bags come out square and stack
