Brown Sugar in jerky

Anybody mix brown sugar in with their jerky marinade. 2 cups added to any basic jerky recipe is absolutely amazing to me. I love it.

I use brown sugar in just about all my brining & curing activities. It's usually a small enough amount to not sweeten anything, but the osmotic properties and flavor extraction from sugar are too strong and useful to omit.

This batch has so much that finished jerky has a glaze to it and some pieces are kinda sticky lol but my son loves it that way.
