I had a euro mount fall this weekend, and miraculously, only one antler tip broke. Its a clean break, so hopefully the fix will be easy. Does anyone have any tips? Gorilla glue, super glue, something else?
I've repaired a few using two part epoxy. If its just the tip just the epoxy will work. If its longer than a few inches I would drill a hole in each piece and insert a piece of stiff wire coated with epoxy in the holes for additional support.I had a euro mount fall this weekend, and miraculously, only one antler tip broke. Thank you! I had tried to keep looking online and am gonna do the epoxy this weekend.Gorilla glue is a brand more than a product now. The original was a polyurethane glue that would foam and expand- majorly bad in this application. I would use epoxy or super glue (1st choice) assuming you have the broken tip.
