Bream bed question

Ok the fishing was tough and I was bored.

If you catch a bream off the bed in a pond, or lake for that matter, and you release the bream back into the water say, 50 to 75 feet from where you caught it....

Does it find it's way back to the same bed?

If so, how soon?

If they are like bass they will be back on bed within minutes.

probably so. they have seen the bottom of the pond enough you would guess they know where to find their bed.

I doubt it made its way back seeing how the only place you relese fish is in your belly!
