Both my cousin and I killed 3 long beards with a single shot per turkey this past season using these shells. Thought I would buy a lifetime supply before Olin brings out a new 'improved' version.

Smart move! If you find something you REALLY like these days, you better buy all you will need for the foreseeable future before the "new" model comes out or it is discontinued altogether.

Yep, I did the same thing. Between low availability, higher prices in the future, manufacturer changing the recipe, or discontinuation I figure it's best to get'em now.

I got to much invested in federal h.w. flight control 3" #7 in 20ga. but the way you boys talk about those loads makes me want to try them. Do they make them in 3" 20ga?

Plateau, got me 3 boxes some weeks back from midway. Been shooting Winchester xtended range 3 inch 5 shot for many years, but finally just about out. Hoping for the same success with these.
Did you do any paper shooting with them for pattern results and what is your gun and choke combo?

I shot a few on paper @ 25 and 40 yards and my gun shoots a bit high. So I just adjusted my hold to make the front bead appear like a 1/2 moon rising above the rib and that seems to work well. I haven't given them a thorough workout on paper like REN and some others as I should but they perform super well. I had been using the Win Supremes #5 in previous seasons-these LBXRs are a definite step up in killing power. My new shotgun is a Benelli M2 with a 21" barrel and I have been using the stock Benelli full choke thus far. I really like this gun- it is very light and handy. I bought it to use for turkeys and summertime coyotes.
