I'm 66 and shot the Alberta buck in 2000 at 43. I knew he'd be my biggest ever and scored 183. The first is the best TN buck I shot at 53. I hoped I'd get a bigger one before my hunting career ended. He scored 132 and I'd like to get one over 140 before I die, Lord willing!

Picture doesn't do it justice. You got anymore of him you'd mind sharing?
This will sound crazy
He isn't really impressive
By that I mean
Some deer are wide
Some are tall
Some have mass

This deer had everything to make a high score
So nothing stands out

Killed my first a button buck at 10. Killed the next 50 deer by 25. Pretty much shot every deer that was legal and loved every second of it. Only two of those were 8 points. Didn't kill a 10 point until I was 45. I never got a buck mounted until 5 years ago. I have a dozen or so 2/12 and older euro mounts. Really good 10 with a crossbow. Got a couple more mounted since. Best year ever this year and I am turning 55 this month. Got a 9,12, and 13. I hunt a lot different nowadays and the quality of deer has really improved during those 45 years.
