A buddy has been watching this deer for 5 years never could get a shot a guest on neighbors land killed it last week Cumberland plateau area

Nice Buck...

Just to follow with a short story. A few yrs back I was hunting a Beauty like the one in the pic. He was everywhere I wasn't but he would show himself everyday of bow season. I would move to where he was and he would be where I was the day before. we played this cat and mouse game all season. Opening day of Gun Season I told myself he can't hide today if I can see him I can shoot him. About 9 am I hear this gun shot it was my Neighbors son in law. First day Hunting, First couple of hours in the woods Ever... Never scouted... just thought the tree he sat next too looked good... he shot the deer of a life time... My Stomache about turned. I never met this guy before and I was telling myself to be happy for him, INSTEAD I wanted to punch him... I put so many hours into that deer... I feel your Buddys Pain... I know exactly how he feels.
