Anybody crappie or bass fish this area? I have some friends that live up there I may be visiting soon. Of course I'll take my boat. Just wondering what to expect.

Big sandy was a huge destination for crappie fisherman for years. Was… not so sure now
Still is.
Eeerrbody longlining dragging them in by the boatloads.
Most make several trips back to the cabins with limits in the spring.
Yep,good area and crappie fishing has been good.livesvoping and pulling cranks have been producing pretty good in the last week in that area.
I don't livescope, but I do pull cranks, although I prefer spider rigging minners or jigs.
If you go pm me and i can give you alittle info on areas if you are gonna pull cranks
