The Blue Cat thread made me remember this big hammer a buddy of mine caught in Boca Grande. Here's the picture and a news article about it.

The guy in the orange shirt(Andy) is who caught it and sadly the guy in the left(Owen) died of an over dose a few years ago.

Had a hammerhead eat a big tarpon on the end of my line at Bahia Honda bridge several years ago. Those are some impressive fish.

The fish was dead by the time the picture was taken. It was hooked in the pass and the fight ended a couple miles offshore. By the time it was towed back to the beach for pictures it was long gone. I have a video somewhere of it being stuck with a flying gaff. Talk about mayhem!

lol ok. i remember seeing a video of a dude holding a 2 or 3 ft shark. that thing folded itself in half and bit the dude on the neck.
