Big dead fish

Anyone here go to the iron ridge boat ramp on the duck river much? Someone shot two huge grass carp and a common and also left a pile of huge gizzard shad near the gate that goes back to that side lake next to the river.

It was recent enough that there were still blood stains on the rocks

Wish people would find a better way to dispose of their fish. But now I know these are in there, and I might have to try and catch one of em. Probably 35-40 pounds

Grass carp are good to eat. Mild, white flaky fish.

If your on FB, go to the Tennessee bowfishing association page and report this. This gives bowfisherman a bad name and most will put the word out to stop whoever is doing it if they know them. Just like poachers give hunters a bad name to the non hunting community, the same happens to good bowfisherman who do things the right way!!!

yep, the flip flop crocs have held up longer than any other pair, and I abuse every single pair by wading through water, rocks and mud all summer long.
