Regular 209 primers don't work. I'm gonna pick up some Fed 209A primers today, if they're in stock, and try those as recommended by BH. I may drill out my BP to 1/16" if the primers don't remedy the ignition problem. This is all I have read online so far as to why I'm not having consistent ignition. If this fails, I'm going back to Pyro.

That's the reports I've been reading online anyway. I seriously thought I would incrementally drill it out by about .010" at a time from stock, but only if the magnum primers don't remedy the problem first.

I had 2 of the Kodiak Mags. and neither one would ignite the BH powder no matter what primer I tried. Sometimes they would shoot sometimes they would only pop the cap.

If all goes as planned, I'll be heading out to shoot some more this afternoon, only this time will have some CCI 209 Mag primers behind the BH209. I sure hope this remedies the ignition issue. I'll make a dern breech plug before I'll buy one.
