BFL on Dale Hollow!

fished the BFL saturday and caught several but none that would help. several smallies in the slot. could not get a largemouth to bite.

it took 15 lb to win the boater and 8 lb to get in the money, paid 21 places.

it took 10 lb to win co-angler and 3 lb to get in the money, also paid 21 places.

Did you fish as a boater or co-angler? I had a couple of buddies that did pretty well on the boater side, but they said it was pretty tough.

co-angler, yes it was tough. i don't think anyone had 5 fish. a few had 4 and some just had 3. a whole lot had nothing to weigh in at all!

There were a few limits, but not many. A friend of mine had 5 that weighed 13 something and he finished 6th. He said he caught 20 smallmouth that day.

Limits can be deceiving at the Hollow. The slot on smallies really hurts tournament anglers who can't find a school of Largemouth.
