Just my opinion but I like the Mossberg 695 bolt action slug gun with rifled barrel, matched with Lightfield Hybred EXP Sabot Slugs in 2 3/4". I found I got better accuracy with the 2 3/4" over the 3" slugs. I can drop deer in their tracks out to 150 yards.

The problem is Mossberg stopped producing this slug gun so you will have to find one used.

Walmart in Clarksville TN had a Mossberg 500 pump slug/field 2 barrle combo deal for $287 - yellow tag(meaning if they ran out, it'd still be 287) My mossy 500 is smooth, reliable, and versatile, but I wish I got the combo in Clarksvegas instead of just 28" field for $207 in Franklin...

I have an H&R ultra slug gun in 20ga. I shoot the Remington 3" buckhammers, and at 100 yds I can cover a three shot group with a quarter, while shooting from a bench. I have a friend who also bought one, and his will shoot just as well. For the money, they cant be beat.
