Who has used them on deer and what is your thoughts?
I am loading the 155 in .308 and have some great results on paper so far. Just curious if any of u have actually killed with them. Most of my shot opportunities will be inside of 100 yards, probably 60 or less. But will be using them also out to 450-500. However mostly concerned about the up close performance of these bullets. Have found lots of positive longer range info.

Killed one last year at 469 yds. Year before at 703yds and year before 775 yds. I was using 210gr berger hunting vld none of them moved. I have killed up close with these under 300 and they have all ran less than 100 yds I personally think its the sound of the muzzle blast that scares them into running and adrenaline takes over

What is the hold over at 703 and 775 yds? That is some good shootin.

I would guess somewhere around 15-18 MOA on the elevation dial,or 5-6 mils maybe, depending on zero range and actual fps,,I dont think you can holdover for 750 yards,,well maybe with a Horus Reticle you might but I wouldnt try that ,,

I load the 168 gr VLD for my 300 win mag. Killed several whitetails from 50 yds out to 350 yds, and a mule deer out at 375 yds. All DRT, I don't get exit holes but there isn't any tracking.
