I got to go to range this morning to try out a new load using Berger VLD 115gr for my 25.06. All I can say is what an improvement(luck really). I have 50 rounds groups of 5 10 sets) using H4831 50.6 to 52.4 gr. What is surprising is that all 10 sets were 1.2 down to .375 in group size. Hell, I'm not a great shooter. If I did not have flyers some would have been better and all would be under an inch.

They performed better than those Nosler 110 accubonds, many want to sell the supply I have, will have to test somemore first.

Sounds good. Let us know how they do on game. I've been contemplating trying some of the VLDs now that they recommend them as a big game bullet.

Hey eye candy i also shoot the berger 115 grn in two 25-06's with RL17 and IMR7828 and both guns are under 1/2 inch, gonna try them out at yucchi this weekend, will let everyone know how the perform!

Okay, my son shot a big doe at yucchi this weekend with this bullet and it did great. The doe was about 100 yards away quartering towards us and the only shot he had was the shoulder and neck. He shot her in the front of the shoulder and the bullet broke the shoulder and the neck turning the deer a complete fip over backwards. There was a huge hole in the shoulder and the bullet did not pass through. Maybe the next shot we can get a broadside shot and see how it performs.
