I'm still waiting for those M1911s and Victory models to hit the market.

You're probably right. They'll build more warehouses and some govt audit will find them 70 years from now

I've actually been to the warehouses at Anniston Army Depot.
The word amazing doesn't come anywhere near enough to describe the place and inventory. Row after row, stacked to the ceiling of weapons in crates. One part has new stuff coming in from FN, awaiting breakdown and shipment. Another has all the stuff being returned for disposal (broken, nonrepairable). Another has just Garands. I could go on and on.
Good thing you have to go through a metal detector goring in and out. Takes the temptation away.
