Bending Arrows

I watched a show a couple of weeks back where a shooter was using a recurve bow. At full draw he would somehow twist his knocked arrow causing the arrow to shoot a curved arch actually allowing him to slightly shoot around a tree. Anyone ever see anything like this?

who was the shooter? I've never seen it done. I've been shooting longbows and recurves for almost 20 years now and attending traditional only 3D shoots for the past few years. Outside of a Hollywood movie, I've never heard of it being done or tried.

This was a young oriental in a subtitled movie. I just wondered if it was possible.

was this that Korean movie where the shooter had to escape with his younger sister while a bunch of ninjas killed their father then several years later he is running all over the country trying to get her back from kidnappers?

That's the movie. Probably impossible but a neat idea.

a golf ball slices and hooks. maybe we need to design an arrow to do the same thing. :lol:

I have had some odd arrow flights over the years but I don't think I could do it on purpose.
