I go to where I hunted all last week except I go into the hardwoods looking to see if I can find where the gobbler I heard last week was roosting. I saw a little scratching but not a lot.... forgot my seat and hearing aids
Found a nice cool sandstone boulder to sit on facing the field I hunted last week but the opposite side.1yelp pause hit another Yelp I saw the red head!
He came in fast n furious and never gobbled . As soon as he got behind a huge oak I raised the mossberg. Tom came out from the wrong side of the tree...... my first left handed harvest! I did good on the shot, I aimed about a foot above and in front of his head because he's only 10-15 yards away!
I was there for about thirty minutes, the Yota didn't even have time to cool down.
