I just heard another shot and miss story of a youthful hunter this morning. Seems the boy took a 50 yard shot at the advise of his father.

Had 4 struttin toms at 45 yds yesterday mornin and would not let my 11 yr old take the shot just for that reason! Did have 3 jakes within 30 yds but he elected to hold out for a tom! BTW he has never shot a turkey! I am proud of his patience!
