Had a doe come in alone at 745 and pick around till 758. Little small buck came in and chased her all over. I finally decided to drop her and hopefully the big boy catches a wif and come to investigate
 
I've dropped em before and had it work but I've also had it happen where bucks didn't check it out. But her scent is blowing straight in the thicket.
 
Had the small buck come back out of the thicket and nudge her a few times then wandered off. 50 degrees here. Getting warm. Gonna have to get her out of here and start skinning.

It works. I've done this. Once had a nice 3.5 come in and nudge her then he got agitated that she wouldn't get up so he got his antlers under her and was lifting her up. Then he got mad and drove her down the hill about 15-20 yards as if he was fightng her. A lot of aggression. Then he just walked off with his nose to the ground
