On my CVA Accura V1 I simply backed out the firing pin bushing slightly to get a tighter fit and no blow back.

I hear about people buying shim kits but this is simple and works great. Just got to test it with a primer and an unloaded gun.

Re: Backing Out the Firing Pin Bushing

yes it works, thats what I did years ago when i figured out to use the bushing. BUT, it can keep coming out with use and over crush the primer, causing a big boom and a big mess in your pants. I used to use teflon tape and double wrap the threads to hold it tight.

You need to measure your new primers first, then put them in the plug and close it up and figure out how much of a crush fit you are putting against them.

My how to videos with the shims.
