I was in my stand just prior to sunup. I saw 5 does, 3 fawns, and 5 bucks. The first 2 bucks were by themselves. The third buck was pestering a does and fawn. The last 2 bucks were traveling together. The first one was a mediocre 6. He had an 8 right behind him. Stepped out of the grass field into an opening, broadside, and wide open. Heavy antlers, looked to be 3.5, and he was a solid 125". He sure was pretty standing there with the sun shining on his antlers. I hope he makes it through the season. Looks like he has great potential. I pulled my camera card and had a few bucks working the mock scrape, including a 10 pointer but I don't think I'll shoot him if I see him. They shifted over a few feet and are working their own scrape so I moved the camera. They have a pit dug in the ground. Back again in the morning.
