Ive got elk on cam on my Fentress land but no bear until now. Still no hogs at least, thank the Lord. Opposite side of county from Big South Fork, but the bears are getting more numerous. Had one in my neighborhood 2 weeks ago, now this one on my land. Looks to be good size but I am not a bear person?

as we were setting up camp last year near sunbright, one of the neighbors came over to warn us to keep an eye out for the bear they had been seeing for the last couple of months soooo there are a few roaming around morgan co.

They are already in Morgan county. We seen one not to long ago out on burrville road and was talking to the game warden and he said that he had some complaints of 1 getting into someones barn out in the glades area.

Man that would be a nice critter to go after! He looks like a pretty big one?

We have them around here but the bear reserves are pretty close too. I have never went bear hunting, just wouldnt know where to begin getting something like that out of the big woods!

Well thing of it is, the local people were in a majority opposition to the restocking of bears. But were told by the feds and state at the time that there would be a season for them after X number of years. That eased the opposition. However, now that X number has passed and been passed a while but we havent been given that season :tired: Things like this are why there is so much distrust around here for agencies dealing in wildlife.
 
Great Pic! Yea, we got them in Morgan County. I have pics of a big bear from about 3 years ago up near Sunbright in the Annadel area.
