Average shot distance?

You long time hunters. What would you say is your average shot distance? East Tn especially. Gathering info...

Hand gun..25 to 40 yds,muzzleloader,50 out to 250 yds.rifle 150 out to 375..

Doh...should have said on coyotes. Sorry. Looking for typical shot ranges. Trying to determine if I want to pony up for a new gun. Allot of what I am reading is eastern coyote hunting is under 100 yards. Similar to deer hunting. If thats the case my holosight equiped marlin 30/30 will do just fine. No need for a flat fast uber scoped shootin iron if thats the case.

Depends on where you are hunting in east tn... you don't need a new gun, just set up in an area that is conducive to your range.

But it sounds like you are looking for an excuse to buy one
