I haven't posted many farms for lease on here lately, as the majority of them get renewed by the same folks yearly. However, I've had a few "new" properties presented to me over the last couple of days. Now, I will not have any history to share about them, as this will be the first time I've been able to offer them. I will be able to give you an overhead view of the properties with the boundary lines included. Also, the actual boundary lines in the field will be marked heavily by paint. These farms are discounted a small percentage due to the fact that they will be required to be renewed in early 2021 before Turkey season (February most likely) . But, from that point forward, they will be annual leases. All of these farms will require each/every person that will be on the property to sign a liability waiver. In addition, all hunting laws and seasons are to be followed to the letter. Trespassing on neighboring properties will not be tolerated. Violation of these rules and/or any illegal acts carried out while on these properties will result in termination of the lease at a minimum. So, with that out of the way, here we go.
The first farm is 158 acres in Putnam county. This farm fronts the North side of Macedonia Rd. It is primarily timber ground with a utility opening running East to West across the Southern third of the property. The farm should hunt 2 to 3 folks safely. Total lease price is $1,350. ***Leased***
Next, is a 157.5 acre farm also in Putnam county. The majority of this farm borders the South side of Brotherton Mountain Rd., with a small portion on the North side as well. This farm sits just below Gordon Hunter Lake for those of you familiar with the area. Also, this property borders the Northeast corner of the 158 acre farm listed above. The way this farm lays out, it should hunt 3 (maybe 4) folks safely. Total lease price is $1,350. ***Leased***
This next farm is in Overton county and it totals 595 acres. It is located East of Livingston, between Alpine & Allred, with an access point on the West side of Hwy. 85 (Wilder Hwy). It appears to have several clearings scattered throughout the property that could be planted. This farm will hunt BIG considering the way it is configured. A lot of ground for the money here! If it were closer to me, I'd hold onto it myself. Total lease price is $4,000 (that's $6.72 an acre). ***Leased***
Once I am able to secure an accurate boundary map, I'll be offering a 488.5 acre tract in Putnam county as well. Stay tuned. Scroll down to see more info about this farm. Total lease price is $3,750.
