Arkansas License-Anyone Know?

I'm fixing to buy a 5 day small game license and a non res state duck stamp to get ready for 2 weeks from now with the boys....Question is when does my 5 days start??? I obviously need it to start 12-16 but didnt know if I bought it if it would start immediatly????

Anyone Know?

i know in some states you can select the dates you want the lics to run thru

You specify what day you want the license to start. Its an option when you do it on line or over the phone.

Avoid the confusion and buy it from a license agent. When we went I got mine at Walmart.

Know what you need by reading the regs ahead of time. I ran into a situation last year where a walmart in KY was selling 5 day lic for deer hunting to two guys. I told them the regs say the 5 day lic is not legal for deer. The gal across the counter said "well we sell a lot of 5 day lic and deer permits...do it all the time". From now on, I read them for myself before I trust anyone else.

If you order the license on line and print it out you are good to go. The print out is your license because in some cases they can not get the license to you in the time that you are taking the trip. Just don't forget your federal stamp too. I was checked by the GW with the print out and he looked it all over and said I was good to go.
