Arkansas is where to be!!!

Ok, so coming back from our deer hunting trip in Arkansas. We're heading to Memphis area.

About 100 miles outside of memphis going towards little rock I saw the SKY blacked out by ducks!

I've hunted a lot of ducks in my life, and seen a lot of ducks on TV shows before... but seriously... it' blacked out the sky!

I wish I had a camera on me for sure, If I had to guess... more than 50-60 thousand ducks easily! The ground was not the ground, looked like an ant hill, the "flooded" field was like a whitewash of breaking surf, and the sky looked like a swarm of locust on a fresh cut field!

It was by far most ducks I've ever seen in my life or probably ever will!

Leavin tomorrow for a sunday hunt. Then its to the farm to do a little work while I am there.

I live and hunt in Arkansas. The ducks aren't here yet. There is tons of snows/specs and trash ducks. The parts of Arkansas that the farmer's didn't get their crops out have a lot of ducks. Until the weather gets bad up north its going to be slow.

Nope, wasn't snow geese. I know it was ducks, just not sure what kind.
Coulda been trash ducks. But for sure not snow geese.

Even the snows weren't that heavy this weekend!
