I know you can hunt there, is there any kind of population there?
Are there actually deer at Forks of the River WMA?

I'm not sure.... I grew up right down the road from there till 2012 or so. I've small game hunted it a good bit and dove hunted some. There are some deer, we just didn't see them much. The ones we did see we're back toward brunette creek. They may have come along some since them I just don't know. Maybe some one will chime in with some recent intel.

Never have seen the 1st deer there.

opening day is your best chance. I know a guy who shot one there opening day and never saw another. maybe the last one?? they are few and far between I think and I believe they go nocturnal

The last one? [emoji2] I hunt them just outside the city limit in West Knoxville. My son and I counted 22 deer, mostly fawns and does on the way home the other night. I just supposed they would live near those neighborhoods as well.
