I did some trading for a stock and ended up with a Tikka T3X stainless 25-06 like new. Debating on selling it as I have no need for it.
I know you guys have some experience with the caliber... what particular load , how accurate would I expect from factory load?

I had a browning xbolt last year that shot great with hornady factory stuff, I just despise a long action rifle so I traded it off

I don't own one, but they have a reputation as a light recoiling, flat shooting round with plenty of punch for deer. Flat shooting is relative, and way overrated... Anything 115gr or above should be great, but I'd prefer Nosler Accubonds or Barnes TTSXs. The rifle will tell you what it likes as far as accuracy.

The 25-06 is a great round and is generally pretty accurate. I hunted Colorado with a fellow who carried one for Mule deer. From that field evidence it definitely did the job.
