Though the weather isn't perfect, I went ahead and took the day off. I'm in the stand this morning in East TN on some TVA land. Nothing but squirrels so far. Anyone out this morning? Seeing any deer movement??

Waiting til rain kicks in so I'm not so loud.
My first day will be Saturday, Veterans Day. Always my best day in the woods so I'm hoping that holds true this year.

Yep I'm the stand in west tn, came to hunt a couple hours before I re seed a food plot before the rain that turkeys destroyed so hopefully it'll take off before they know I re seeded it! Have seen 4 does and a small buck

Yep I'm in tree. NW middle TN. Wind starting to really kick up now though. Saw spike chasing doe right at daylight. Hoping this little front gets them on their feet.
Great looking spot. Looks to be some really good thick stuff nearby. Good luck!

I got up and was going to go this morning, but with the nw wind it's not ideal for where I wanted to go so I didn't. Going to wait until tomorrow morning. Activity at my cell cam this morning has been pretty good, they should be moving ahead of this incoming front.
Really thick in here. Acorns. It's been a decent spot. I've seen several deer here this season, but nothing I really wanted to shoot.

We are going this evening depending on rain
I took this week off to hunt the rut in Kentucky. Been hot and windy, but I have stuck it out. I have shot two does with button bucks and have only seen a small buck chasing. I shot the second doe at 6:40 this morning. Have seen two decent bucks cruising earlier this week before it got so hot.

Worst thing bout hunting in the rain is deer stink when they wet lol
