There was so much floodwater out that the ducks had too many places to sit down It was slow.

I have a camp 9 miles south of Augusta. unless you are hunting in the white river floodwaters it will be slow and may be slow anyway. Second lowest duck count this week in Arkansas since they started counting. I have hunted over there since 1998 and this has been my worst year by far. not many ducks and what is there is scattered and educated. of course, you could have a good hunt but generally it sucks.

I am here now, hunting with a buddy. Yesterday and today we hunted the Cashe River wma and it was slow slow slow both days. Yesterday was rough and we didn't see many birds picking up but managed to get 3 teal and a greenie. Today we got a single greenie but had an opportunity at at a few other groups that wouldnt commit.

I am here now near weiner. We hunted pretty much all day and I finally got to witness first hand ducks arriving just ahead of a cold front. It was awesome to see it all unfold. They're here now.

I hunt close to McCrory. We hammered teal all weekend, but there weren't many big ducks in the area other than spoonies.
