Anyone Ever See a White Raccoon???

We had this all white raccoon show up on my trail camera last week. He looks young. Just wanted to share. They say they are 1 in 750,000.

Treed 1 on the hiwassee refuge years ago! Before my dad passed he logged almost 68 yrs of coon hunting and training hounds only to ever tree one. Very rare

I haven't seen one in person but buddy of mine caught one in a live trap at work a year or so ago.

Back in the 80's, I lived in East Memphis and a close friend lived about a mile from me. They had a big ole white raccoon that lived in their shed. Thing must have weighed 25 pounds. His grandparents lived next door to him. His grandfather would sit out on the back porch and stick Lays potato chips between his toes and that raccoon would come up and sit there and pluck the chips from his toes and eat them.

In the late 80's I lived in midtown memphis not far from the zoo and had a albino female that lived around our apartment building. Used to see her all the time. She had a litter and two turned out all white just like her.
