Anybody catching any sauger yet?

Just wondering if anyone has been out sauger fishing yet this winter and if you did any good?

Not yet but I'm sure gonna try when I get back. I have always had luck on the Tennessee River around Diamond Island. I hope it will be good this year too.

Got some friends headed out this weekend near Birdsong. I think i will stay in the woods though. I will try to let you know how they do though.

They should be turning on soon. I'll wait till the end of dec to go I guess.

Nothing much happening around Pickwick Dam yet. Should start picking up around the Duck River anytime now.

The flood gates are open now at pickwick. this will probably stall the sauger for a couple of weeks.
