Post a few of your 2012 trailcam pics, if you have them of bucks you would like to see this 2013 season or get a chance to kill.

Here are 2 of mine. Nothing spectacular antler-wise, but old enough for me to shoot!

Buck #1

Buck #2

My 2012/2013 season favorites

My #1 favorite

I know its a 2010 season pic but I was given a pic of him in 2012

My buck I call "Hightop"

The "Warrior" buck

"Superstar" got a lot of pics of him

Another old deer

2.5 and a ton of potential

I can only pray my 2013/2014 season of cameras will be as good. I got over 50 bucks and barely ran cams in season..talk about luck

This dude is a ghost I think .

There are a few I'd like to see again.

Big 8 point.

12 point I passed up several times.

^ That was this deer

This one will be nice if he fills out his left side.

Hopefully he calls this property home for the 3rd year.

He may be around again this year, but if he is, we'll never see him. At 4 1/2 last year, we got just ONE daylight picture of him all season. if he's still alive at 5 1/2, I think our chances of seeing him moving during daylight are 0.00000000001%

In the same boat. We have one that will be 6 1/2 this year. The million dollar question will be, is he still around? We found his shed in March, so I know he made it through the season. No one has seen him since he was 2 1/2 when a youth hunter shot and missed him. I get pictures of him all the time in the fall and every summer. Summer of 2012, I got 1 pic. Many pics of him all last fall. If only he had a big rack :D . A very below average deer. I'd be so proud of him though!

ANY buck 6 1/2 would be a MAJOR trophy in my book. My oldest buck (6 1/2) had an 8-point basic frame that only grossed 112, yet he's a trophy I'm extremely proud of.

I know, but as I said, I don't have any on camera so far this year. Making it hard for me to decide to go for some that I have right now...

Last year, my summer resident buck population consisted of just 4 yearling bucks. I didn't get a 2 1/2 year-old buck on my place until mid-September. However, by the rut, I had the normal number of all age bucks on the place, from yearlings to fully mature bucks.

You just never know what deer are going to do as the seasons change.

BowGuy84, is that Davidson county or somewhere near?

my spot is a lot like yours bsk. Although I have only ran cameras since late December so I don't know when the big boys show up. I got lots of does, fawns and at least 3 yearling bucks. Come September the place gets covered in fresh rubs. Can't wait to see what's on camera then.

Actually, that was a very unique situation for us catman529, Normally, we have 12 to 15 summer resident bucks, spread across all ages. I still don't exactly know what happened last summer.

But I have seen these seasonal buck movement patterns display extremes on individual properties. I've seen several properties that, year after year, hold no bucks older than yearlings in summer, only to have the place flooded with bucks come fall. I've also seen the opposite--properties loaded with bucks in summer but almost devoid of bucks during the season. It all depends on where bucks are grouping in summer bachelor groups, and how far they travel once those groups break up in early September.

My private property in Butler Co. rarely has older deer until after the early MZL in KY (mid Oct). However, after that I usually have 5-7 2.5 or older bucks on only 100 acers.

The previously posted pics come out of ares in Jefferson Co. (where Louisville is) one is really close to the city.

As in this close yesterday:

However, they bulldozed the 50 acre thicket I was hunting deer coming out of. I know of 2 PY deer currently, but I am still hoping if I can have the crop field and hold the does I can get it done some time through out the year on either the 3rd or 4th pic. The first two come from a chiansaw to hunt exchange I have going. Great deer but very hard to hunt them until the rut.

I also have some deer I'm patterning currently that if they finish well, it may not matter what turns up. Blessing and curse of a 1 buck limit.
