I lost all interest in MLB baseball in 1981 after the strike. I have only watched 1 MLB baseball game since. And that was to watch the Cubs win the World Series. Figure that was historic and was not going to happen again for another 100 years so had to get that one in in my lifetime.

Was a huge Dodgers fan in the 80s and early 90s.

My fandom came from my dad. He said that when he was young, he'd listen to the Brooklyn Dodgers on AM radio. When they moved to LA, he followed.

Several summers we would go to either Atlanta or Cincinnati to watch the Dodgers.

Baseball lost me with the strike in the 90s and I haven't missed it one bit.

I couldn't name 5 current players from any team.
