Ants

I have black ants in my lock on tree stands. They are nested inside the metal tubing. Any suggestions on how to address with out stinking up the spot?

I have used wasp spray in stands and had deer back the same day. Whatever kills wasps should kill ants too.

Hate when they get in those. It's typically when I'm taking it down and there is no rope to lower it to the ground…and there I am…holding it 25' up in the air as they're biting the fire out of me

We went down yesterday and checked/replaced straps as needed and sprayed wasps in the box blinds. Several of our ladder stands had what looked like miniature termites in them. Little black bugs with wings.

I went to cut some shooting lanes and check on stand, no ants, but I had a bunch of mud dauber tubes all inside the door, but nothing inside. Luckily nobody was home, just the larva, which didn't make it. I sprayed some permethrin all around the openings.
