Anterless Deer NonQuota Hunts

This year Sullivan County has an anterless deer bag limit of 2 on December 22nd. Can you take both of these deer on the same day? Could you continue to hunt after taking these two anterless deer and legally take a buck making a total of three deer in one day?

According to the Hunting Guide, Sullivan Co has Special Season Antlerless hunts on Nov. 22-23 (1 limit), Dec. 22-28 (limit of 2), and Dec. 29-Jan. 4 (limit of 2).

You can take the limit for each hunt on the same day. And, you can take one buck the same day if you haven't reached your season limit of three bucks.

These hunts require the Type 94 permit (or Sportsman License) for all ages, including youths under the age of 13.
