Sitting on a ridge overlooking another one, I can see into a hayfield to my right, got a cut over behind me and some thick woods leading to a swamp to my left

Sounds like a good place to me too. Im sitting on an edge of a long narrow Hayfield between to ridges.there is a power line thicket on both sides as well. No Swamp here though where im at. Thinking about getting out of the blind around 9:30 and doing some walking. This wind is howling and maybe I can use it to my advantage.

Saw what looked like a good buck chasing a doe but no possible shot, gonna watch my little girl and my wife is gonna go to the same area

Well she didn't see anything , said it was my fault since I shot a doe there Friday
