Good grief; now F1 mandates hybrid cars? I'm not talking about Formula E - I'm talking about what used to be the greatest racing circuit in the world.

Because of the way Formula 1 cars make power in 2026, split about 50/50 between the gasoline engine and the electric hybrid unit, the cars seem to be running out of steam partway down many of the longer straights at the Bahrain track.

Sad, sad, sad.

My oldest daughter is really spun up about this. I'm not sure how exactly (probably a crush on some driver) but she is big time into F1. Seems to be a big thing with the college/high school crowd these days.

In positive F1 news, the new Cadillac car is pretty sweet looking. My business partner (small side security consulting firm) is interviewing with them for a cyber position in NC. Be nice to have a US team.

Typical Jerry Bruckheimer movie. If you like those kind of movies it's awesome. I really enjoyed it.
