Can you field dress a deer before taking it to checking station for testing. Not sure what they need to test

They use to require you to bring the liver, your map should have come with rules and instructions, been a while since I killed 1 but think they took bone marrow out instead.

Map just says mark on map where harvested then bring deer to checkout

There is a check in station on Bethel Valley road on the left before you get to the guard shack on the east end. You do not have to check in with them or anything, you just need your signed map and permit to scout. There is a few other places that guards will be stationed at that you will have to check in with them if you decide to scout that area.
