Buddy of mine on our Kansas lease killed the buck we called Heart Attack. 252 pounds live weight rough scored 172 3/8 with all kinds of kickers. 2 out of 4 hunters have tagged out so far

He's for real on ALL accounts, congrats to your two buds. That buck looks extremely mature from what little I can see. Thanks for sharing.

What kind of recovery with the shot placement on that bruiser?

Andy he went 60 yards from the shot. My buddy never seen the arrow come out but found great blood at the shot. He backed out and tracked this morning. If In doubt back out, he said he could see the buck legs getting weak but just wanted to give him time

I don't blame him, especially with a buck of that caliber. Congrats to him on all accounts.
