Do you just shoot it with regular clear hot glue?

Yes. I've been using some hot glue that is Grey in color and is used for paintless dent repair where a tab is glued to the dent and the dent is pulled. The tab is released with rubbing alcohol. It's tuff stuff.

Very cool. I guess you run a common wire gauge for all that stuff so you don't need multiple molds.

I made one for up to 16ga and another for 14ga to 10ga

I got the one I made out today and ran a test connection for show and tell. It has 3 different size mold cavities. I made this out of necessity and they are expensive. My trailer brake and light wiring kept corroding and causing the wire to rot. The wire would be rotten 2 or more inches into the insulation. This tool will be used on all trailer wiring going forward. Upper half is the lower mold and the lower half is the upper mold.
The bottom pic is the mold assembled.

I like liquid tape, when applied to dry clean wires works well.

I use that over shrink wrap. Two methods better than one when it comes to salt
