am i shooting enough to shoot exspandables

Oka i am shooting 55lbs with a 350gran 26inch arrow at 278 feet pre second and it 60.08 pounds of kentic energy do any think i would be oka shot mechanical broadheads or fixed

I shoot the 3 blade 1 1/2in cut meat seeker. The first year I bowhunted I was pulling 50 pounds and they performed just fine! I would say you have more than enough energy.

Try em out and kill one!

I would go with a 1 3/8" cut Grim Reaper myself. You will have better penetration with a smaller cut. I wouldn't put anything else on the end of my arrows.

I tried these last year too! a nasty broadhead for sure! I shot two or three deer with them last year. They all ran about 30 yards and flopped.

If I was looking to try a different broadhead it would be grim reapers.
Rage sucks imo.

I will say I don't think the Rage sucks. Great entrance wounds and exit wounds with really thick blood trails. Rage has 2 issues penetration and pre-deployment. If you are shooting lighter weights than I wouldn't shoot a Rage. Go on YouTube and look up mature bucks shot with Rage. Most you see will not be pass throughs. At 60+ lbs. I think they are a great head. Anything less the 60 I probably wouldn't go with a Rage. But like I said earlier. You just can't beat a Grim Reaper!

Well i may have messed up i bought some rages after i opened them there not that promising by the way the blades open it going to have to be a good punch to knock them open i am going to have to try them out just because i dune bought them and they wont take them back so i will give them a try on a good health doe saturday morning and see what happens

I've killed many deer with rage 2 blades, they are a great head! After you nock an arrow pinch the blades to make sure the are secure against the o ring!!!!!!!
